Description: The group has the mission to define and implement the development tools strategy to support the microcontrollers (8 to 32-bit) designed in the microcontroller division. This strategy encompasses tools developed within the group and products developed by a worldwide network of 70 third-party companies.
Operating Systems, such as Linux, WinCE will be key items of our tools portfolio for the next generation of microconttrollers based on an ARM926 core.
The candidate needs to have a very strong background in such operating systems (BSPs, admin., drivers development...) and to be very motivated and autonomous to start this activity. He will be the reference for operating systems as such tools are new within the microcontroller divisions.
There are a lot of opportunities for evolution.
Communication is a key parameter: with partners worldwide, within the division (business units, marketing ...) and with the regions (marketing, FAEs...).
