Job Description Administer multiple Linux servers running in a high availability (Application Service Provider) environment. (Plus) •Configure and install new machines –Advanced Linux administration – shell scripting, performance tuning, and support. (Essential) • Implement software and hardware RAID solutions. (Plus) • Research, evaluate and implement fault tolerant web and DB clusters. (Plus) • Support PERL/MySQL developer/system requirements. (Essential) • Maintain development/testing environments for real-time applications (Application Service Provider). (essential) • Set up and day-to-day maintenance of production system (Essential) • System performance & stability monitoring and optimization (essential) • Incident detection and handling (essential) • Resource monitoring, scaling of infrastructure as needed (essential) • Duties will include monitoring, small projects, automation of jobs, putting web site enhancements into production, and system builds.
