Maritime Academy Expert
RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary role in developing a strategic plan for the project in conjunction with the project management and external consultants.
Introduce and harness industry contacts/participants in order to create networking opportunities for the project.
Document and present the industry value chain and recommend areas of opportunities and strength for the project.
Document and present the industry supply chain and recommend areas of opportunities and strength for the project.
Play a pivotal role in securing anchor clients to the project.
Consider and recommend operational requirements of the project in line with its mission, role and objectives including the regulatory framework as appropriate.
Develop cost estimates of the project.
Primary role Develop and implement appropriate policies and procedures.
Recommend and assist in coordinating the infrastructure development requirements of the project (master plan development).
To coordinate with International Marine Academics.
Bring the latest courses in this field from other academies.
Being able to attract other professionals in this field in order to assist in the Academic Field.
Being able to put an academic target and monitor it.
Sign memos of understanding.
Plan, revise, and effectively deliver a challenging, problem-based interdisciplinary curriculum
Organize lectures and prepare course materials in a timely and professional manner
Adhere to the daily academic schedule
Prepare, administer, and grade assignments, mid-term and final examinations in a timely manner
Supervise and mentor students in their Directed Research projects
Actively support and counsel students on academic issues.
Maintain records of: lectures, exams, readings, field experiences and assignments.
Participate in and lead parts of the orientation and re-entry
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree, preferably PHD.
Computer literacy and good analytical skills.
Academic Skills.
Inter personal skills
Team Building & Leadership
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Having 10 years of experience in any large multinational Marine Academic field in the areas of consultancy, education, & putting the strategic plan. mail cv to medha@experts.ae
