Job Description
|
SW Engineer to research/ develop and maintain real-time/embedded software, including low-level development. Will be developing hardware device drivers, networked client-server applications, multiple database driven application, and/or network security methodologies in a C/C++, Linux environment.
Other responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
* Translate designs to test SW requirements by analyzing functional specifications and interpreting complex system design specifications.
* Develop functional block diagrams and data/logic flow charts.
* Develop strategic and implementation plans for LRU Tester Systems. Codes, integrates, tests, debugs, and refines the SW.
* Design SW tools and subsystems to support SW development, test and reuse, and manages their implementation.
* Enhance SW to reduce operation time or improve efficiency.
* Apply reverse engineering and re-engineering to plan strategic system migration. Develop system architecture and design including SW, HW, communications and interface requirements.
* Lead systems definition, trade-off and design activities. Review, evaluations, an analyzes design interfaces.
* Prepares, review and evaluate interface documentation, specifications, test plans and procedures.
* Conduct analysis to define, analyze and allocate requirements, Prepare program-level and user-level documentation.
* Support system test programs and analyze system testing.
Minimum Requirements:
5+ years of low level Linux development with lab experience using test equipment. BSEE or BS computer science or equivalent.
