Systems Group Manager
We are a small, well-funded stealth startup that is buildingÃÂ next generation security and networking hardware for the large enterprise space. Our mission is to change the way security is deployed and managed on a global scale.
We are currently seeking a manager for our firmware and hardware groups. In this role you will be responsible for managing the development of design implementation for control plane and data plane applications.
Responsibilities:
Manage our systems team
Working with the firmware development team and network management team to create control and management plane applications
Responsible for code, design and documentation reviews assuring architectural fit
Champion best development practices
Required Skills:
2+ years hands-on managing/leading a systems group
10+ years experience in system and software design implementation in the networking or security field
Experience with systems software, systems architecture, development with network processor and device drivers
Expert programmer in C.
Expert with embedded Linux
Strong IPC skills and multi-threaded programming skills
Successfully shipped networking products for the enterprise space
Experience working with a start-up is a must
Strong team player and excellent communication skills
Demonstrated ability to design and build complex products
BS in CS/EE or equivalent required, PhD or MS desirable.
