NOTE: Start Date : Immediate Interview Process : Face to face ONLY (Local Candidates or Surrounding areas or who can COMMUTE daily) Location : Westborough, MA Candidate Type : U.S. Citizens or Green Card or EAD (NO H1*s) Salary : Competitive Benefits : Regular Std benefits ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Sr. LINUX Technical Support Engineer Needed in Westborough, MA - Full Time Permanent position ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Sr. LINUX Technical Support Engineer Needed in Westborough, MA:- Looking for a top notch Sr. LINUX Technical Support Engineer who will be responsible for handling front- line and escalated technical calls from our clients. We are looking for a key contributing individual who will be an escalation resource and mentor for other engineers within our organization, will perform technical research to keep abreast of industry changes and direction and function as a "go-to" resource for any Linux issues. · Qualified candidates will be proficient with Red Hat versions 7, 8, 9 RHEL AS, ES as well as SuSE Professional 8 & 9. · Proficient in scripting including PERL, Shell, Awk, Sed. · Unix/Linux administration including kickstart / jumpstart server builds, nfs, nis, performance tuning. · Previous experience with Sendmail, Apache, Bind and other network services required. · Cluster and RAID experience required. · Experience administering Linux connectivity using Samba in a heterogeneous environment required. · Configuration of a NetDump server and client as well as Yum/Yast u2date Zenwork skills. As a member of the technical support team, a successful candidate will have excellent presentation and writing skills. Must work effectively with other team members to deliver quality support to our customers and be comfortable working with customers on a daily basis.
