Job Description
|
Day to day operation, administration, implementation and maintenance of all back office systems.
Design and development of applications that use Oracle technologies through the use of the company’s Software Development Life Process (SDLC) and the Oracle Application’s framework.
Applications database administration.
Systems performance and capacity planning.
Direct management and supervision of the Oracle support staff.
Utilization of appropriate project management techniques to ensure that projects and system enhancements are performed within budget and on time.
Monitoring of the day to day activities of all vendors providing services to the company related to area of responsibilities.
Maintain a storage management program and implement the department’s Data Backup and Offsite Media Storage policy.
Responsible for the tactical aspects of disaster recovery, auditing and security policies, procedures and guidelines.
Supervise, monitor and track the status of the Helpdesk and other requests related to area of responsibilities.
Assist the CIO in the analysis and collection of cost information to develop and monitor the IT budget.
Develop and create monthly metrics to evaluate the operation of the applications using Oracle technologies.
Assist the CIO in the development of required policies and standard operational procedures (SOP) related to areas of responsibilities.
Perform other related duties to support the mission and critical success factors of the Information Technology department.
Provide support to the CIO and other Information Technology department managers to ensure that all projects and requests are successfully completed.
Requirements:
Demonstrate strong organizational, supervisory, administrative, people and technical skills.
Appropriate knowledge of the technologies used by the company to be able to supervise staff.
Ability and willingness to learn new technologies through own initiatives.
At least 10 years experience as an IT professional related to the development and support of Oracle based applications.
At lease 3 years experience managing an IT department using the Oracle Applications in a small to midsize company.
Hands-on, roll-up your sleeves attitude.
High energy and strong work ethic approach.
Four year degree in Computer Science or related field.
