SENIOR EMBEDDED SYSTEMS SOFTWARE ENGINEER #6079
This senior position will serve as a systems software engineer for an embedded computer product for sensor and data acquisition targeting the automotive industry. We’re seeking an individual who is detail oriented and can work in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications Needed:
· MSEE/CE or equivalent in experience
· At least 10 years experience in the design and implementation of systems-level software applications
· Experience in real-time embedded Linux and low-level drivers implementation
· Previous work experience performing functional analysis and designing system architectures employing analog and digital hardware, FLASH, firmware, OS or RTOS software
· Experience with sensor and data acquisition hardware, communication interfaces, I/O and GUI interfaces
· Ability to prepare functional and technical specifications while accurately conveying technical detail to scientists, engineers and marketing staff for developing products
· Experience with SW development tools or IDE such as Code Warrior
· Experience with DSPs and associated software development environments
· C/C++ programming experience
Qualifications Desired:
· Excellent scientific programming and problem solving skills
· Math background
· Good coding style desired with emphasis on OOD, OOP or re-usable code
· Experience with video systems and image processing helpful
