To create and execute performance and functional tests for F5 Networks SSL-VPN based remote access security products.
Senior software QA engineer responsible for designing performance, functional,
and automated test environments/plans, as well as performing tests, creating
reports, and developing automation tools.
Perform in a senior and/or lead capacity within a QA team. Responsible for creating a performance testing framework using industry standard networking performance test tools, developing metrics to be collected, performing test runs, and generating reports. Also responsible for functional/stress/load
testing remote access product. Work closely with team members and the product development to develop test frameworks and troubleshoot issues. Communicate with technical and non-technical colleagues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor degree in computer/engineering related field or equivalent work
experience.
5+ years professional experience Linux/UNIX environment.
Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking and layer 7 protocols.
Knowledge of scripting and/or programming languages a plus.
Knowledge of underlying web technologies including HTTP, HTML, and JavaScript.
Knowledge of networking products such as routers, firewalls, Windows and/or
Linux/UNIX servers.
Familiarity with industry standard performance/automation test tools (such as those from Spirent and Ixia).

Windows application/systems experience.
Ability to rapidly pick up new technologies.
Conveys thoughts clearly in both written and verbal communications.
Proven ability to deliver products with highest quality and on time.
